Volunteer Sign Up

If you love organizing and/or planning for events, this volunteer opportunity is for you!! Small jobs to large ones. Help with marketing, social media, preparation work for auction, set-up, & soliciting for auction items.

 Hours available Monday - Friday 10:00 am - 4:00 pm with a 2-hour minimum.

To volunteer at an event, visit our website, click "get involved," scroll down to "events," and sign up there. www.stopchildrenscancer.org

This event allows school-age children to compete and demonstrate their martial arts skills. Volunteers will help register the students and tally scores during the tournament. If you have any questions, email info@stopchildrenscancer.org or call 352-377-2622.

This option is for students seeking internship credit from a university, preferably in journalism and communications, event planning, or marketing. Other college credit areas may be accepted, too. Please call to discuss. 352-377-2622.

Hours can be earned Monday through Friday and during events. Please indicate in the comments section which field you are interested in and your hours of availability.

Volunteers are needed to help in several areas throughout the day. The signup section lists a variety of tasks and times. If you have a group signing up, we will need the details of who is coming at the latest one week before the event. In the meantime, you can enter your group name in the slots you want to hold. If there are problems signing up or you have questions, please call the office at 352-377-2622.

This option is for members of Delta Nu Zeta Only.

Thank you for signing up to volunteer. We will work on several different tasks throughout the semester. These include organizing, event planning, administrative tasks, calling for donations, social media posts, and creating a newsletter. The dress code is business casual please as we do have donors and people from the community stopping in the office. If you have any questions, please give me a call at 352-377-2622.
