Volunteer Sign Up

If you love organizing and/or planning for events, this volunteer opportunity is for you!! Small jobs to large ones. Help with marketing, social media, auction preparation, setup, & soliciting auction items.

 Hours available Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, with a 2-hour minimum.

This option is for students seeking internship credit from a university, preferably in journalism and communications, event planning, or marketing. Other college credit areas may be accepted, too. Please call to discuss. 352-377-2622.

Hours can be earned Monday through Friday and during events. Please indicate in the comments section which field you are interested in and your hours of availability.

This option is for members of Delta Nu Zeta Only.

Thank you for signing up to volunteer. We will work on several different tasks throughout the semester. These include organizing, event planning, administrative tasks, calling for donations, social media posts, and creating a newsletter. The dress code is business casual please as we do have donors and people from the community stopping in the office. If you have any questions, please give me a call at 352-377-2622.

This is Stop Children's Cancer's Annual Fantasy Event, to be held in the Grand Ballroom of the Reitz Union on March 28, 2026. 

Volunteers are needed throughout the day to assist with setup, guest check-in, greeting, auction check-out, and clean-up.

Dress for volunteers during the event time: a white button-down top and black pants, or a dress for ladies. This is a formal event. Prior to the event, dress comfortably. 

Additional details will be provided as we get closer to the event.
